With the full moon it’s a perfect time to release that which is no longer serving us. The moon is at it’s largest and most receiving, and has the power to shift the tides, and your life if you let it.
We often hold on to many things day to day that we’d be better off letting go, but because of familiarity, we don’t. Sometimes it seems easier to keep doing the thing that’s causing us pain and stress, instead of taking a risk and adventuring into the unknown.
So many people let themselves stay stuck in insanity, as Albert Einstein mentions, when the whole world is waiting beyond our self imposed limitations. When we stay stuck in negative thoughts and feelings, we will bring more of that to us in our physical surroundings, consciously or unconsciously.
I don’t know anyone that wakes up in the morning consciously wishing for a bad day, but often our language sets it up for us. “It’s just one of those days”, “These kind of things always happen to me” phrases like these keep us stuck in our old patterns when we don’t need to be.
These are all things we need to release with the energy of the full moon, so “one of those days” can mean everything going right and in our favour, and those are the “things that always happen to [you]”.

When you let go of things with the energy of the full moon, it amplifies the reciprocal energy to bring that much more good into your life, letting yourself bloom to your full potential. Nature abhors a vacuum so the more you can let go of, the more room you’ll have to manifest your desires.

Here’s a perfect activity to pair with the energy of the full moon. It will be a quick list, so don’t think too hard about it. The things on it will be what first comes to your mind.
Since the full moon is about releasing what no longer serves us, start with writing down 3 things that you would like to release from your life, even if you have no idea how. This includes
• any stresses
• ongoing behaviours causing conflict
• toxic interactions, your own actions
• places you feel stuck
• anything you can think of.
Now sit with your list a moment and reread it in your head, really thinking about and internalizing each one and what it means to you. Feel the tension in your body as you think about these things
To help continue the releasing of these negative energies, sit with the full moon meditation below and really feel it and release yourself to it, following the words and what it describes for visualizing. It will help you continue the process to let things go.

Once you have completed that exercise, feel free to jot down 3 more points of what your intention is for the following weeks. We will be able to put more energy into this process for the new moon in two weeks, but it is always a good idea to start the ball rolling in the direction you hope to go.
Hang these points up where you will see them every day, and make sure to read them at least once during the day. The more often you read them, the more you are imprinting your subconscious in the direction of your dreams.
Everything you want really is achievable with the right mindset and goals. Use the moon’s energy to help create the changes you’ve been longing for. It’s all there waiting for you.
